Custom plugin development is most of what I do. Plugins that connect WordPress to outside systems through their APIs (CRMs, booking tools, membership databases, payment providers) with proper auth, webhooks and background sync via Action Scheduler. Custom WooCommerce functionality: pricing rules, product options, checkout steps, vendor payouts, gateways built on WC_Payment_Gateway, HPOS compatible. Admin tools: import and export, reports, custom post types and custom tables, WP-CLI commands. Taking over plugins someone else wrote and fixing slow queries and memory leaks. Every plugin follows WordPress coding standards (PHPCS), with nonces and capability checks, prepared SQL, escaped output, and nothing in core or parent theme files. Code lives in Git and you get the repo plus a short maintenance guide. Full website builds are the second thing I do. Bring a Figma, PSD or PDF design or a clear idea of what the site must do. I build the theme, custom blocks or ACF field groups, custom post types, forms, WooCommerce, memberships or courses, and the plugins that tie it together. Builds so far include a 20,000 product store fed by supplier APIs, LearnDash academies, multi-vendor marketplaces, job portals, and rebuilds onto Kadence or Elementor without losing what already worked. How I work: I look at your site (theme, plugins, error logs, Query Monitor) before asking anything, confirm the scope in writing, work on staging, and send plain English updates every working day. If I say Tuesday, it is done by Tuesday. Proof: I run MagniGeeks, a small team in India. Our own plugins include WP Responsive Menu (30,000+ active installs), RestroPress (restaurant ordering with Flutter apps) and MagniPOS (WooCommerce POS with native apps). Need a companion app? If I could give Nirmal 10-Stars, I would. We had a few problems communicating, simply because we are in totally different time-zones. We figured everything out and worked together very well. Nirmal has gone WAY ABOVE & BEYOND! I asked him to change many things while he was working on this project. He never once complained or gave me a hard time. He was always courteous and respectful. I was a big pain in the a** on many occasions. Nirmal was very patient with my questions and issues. ALWAYS very helpful and suggestive. I have actually hired Nirmal for a few other projects. Nirmal was fantastic to work with. He was professional from the very first message, responded quickly at every stage, and took the time to really understand my situation before recommending anything. When he found an issue with a theme purchase after the fact, he was upfront about it immediately and worked with me to find the best solution rather than just pushing ahead. Speed optimisation: news site into the 90s on PageSpeed
A high-traffic news publisher with ad scripts and donation forms wanted the site fast on mobile. We audited every script and stylesheet, moved critical CSS above the fold, deferred the rest, fixed image sizing and lazy loading, and set up server, browser and CDN caching. Tested on staging, pushed live in one go. Mobile PageSpeed in the 90s, editorial workflow untouched.
Product: MagniPOS, point of sale for WooCommerce
Our own POS for WooCommerce stores with native apps for Android, iOS, Windows and Mac, syncing sales, inventory, customers and staff with the store in real time. Real-time sync between WooCommerce and a native app is hard to get right; we have done it as a product that other stores run every day, which is the level of code quality every client plugin gets.
Build: custom WordPress theme for a landmark tower
A landmark tower needed a site that puts the building and its public art installation, the highest in the United States, at the centre of the design. We built a custom responsive WordPress theme from the design with editable sections, so the team can update content and imagery without a developer, and the site holds up on mobile as well as it does on a large screen.
Product: RestroPress online ordering and its app suite
Our own online food ordering plugin for WordPress, used by restaurants around the world, with customer, kitchen display, driver and desktop order manager apps built in Flutter. Proof of what we build end to end: the plugin, the payment flow, the REST API and the native apps. If your site needs a companion app, this is what it looks like when we do it for ourselves.
Plugin: tournament calendar with event types and roles
An organisation running tournaments needed a calendar with event types and categories, registration by role and a feedback system, as a real plugin rather than shortcodes. We built custom post types and taxonomies, an AJAX-filtered calendar, custom roles and capabilities, CAPTCHA-protected front-end registration, and the feedback module as an add-on hooked in through filters.
Plugin: single sign-on against a member database API
An association wanted members to log in to WordPress with their membership system credentials and roles that update automatically. The plugin hooks the authenticate filter, verifies credentials through the Impexium REST API, creates or updates the WordPress user on each login, assigns Member or Non Member roles from the membership array, and keeps the SSO token for the session.
Plugin: customer portal connected to a field service API
A smoke alarm service company wanted customers to log in and see their appointments, which live in AroFlo, not WordPress. The plugin maps each user to their AroFlo client ID, signs the HMAC-authenticated requests, caches responses in transients, and renders a dashboard with status and ETA links. Lookups are tied to the current user so nobody sees another customer's jobs.
Plugin: Stripe Connect payouts for a marketplace
A WooCommerce marketplace needed automatic payouts to vendors and affiliates through Stripe Connect Express, keeping the platform fee, and an end to duplicate payouts. We built front-end Connect onboarding, transfer logic on order completion that splits each payment, webhook handling, an idempotency key on every transfer (the duplicate payout cause) and a payout log.
Plugin: Paystack split payments on a WC Vendors store
A WC Vendors marketplace paid through Paystack needed every order split between owner and seller at payment time, with no ready-made plugin for that combination. We built a WC_Payment_Gateway extension that creates a Paystack subaccount per vendor, adds the split code at checkout, verifies payment via webhook, and falls back to the main account if a vendor has not connected.
Plugin: Stripe subscription export and CSV importer
A subscription box business moving billing to Stripe still had to ship a physical product monthly. The plugin pages through the Stripe subscriptions API with expanded customer objects, flattens shipping fields into a fulfilment CSV, and imports new subscribers from CSV with coupons, billing anchor dates and send_invoice where no card is on file. Batched via Action Scheduler.
Plugin: import and export tool for a multisite pricing plugin
A medical devices company ran their own group-buy pricing plugin across a multisite and managed hundreds of products by hand. We built an import and export tool for its custom table: export active rows for the current blog ID, edit in Excel, import back with per-field validation, date parsing, JSON encoding of variation prices, and a dry-run mode listing every change first.
Build: WooCommerce store, 20,000 products from supplier APIs
A promotional products reseller wanted their own store, not one owned by another company: 20,000 products from 50 suppliers, quantity breaks, decoration options. We built the full site: custom product templates, a scheduled importer pulling products, images and tier pricing from the supplier API, and a pricing filter applying margins at display time. They own their data now.
Build: learning platform on LearnDash, BuddyBoss and WooCommerce
An industrial reliability trainer wanted to launch a paid pilot course and grow into a full academy with a community. We built the complete site on a subdomain: LearnDash courses with drip content and certificates, BuddyBoss for the community layer, WooCommerce checkout, and the group logic the pilot needed. Payment plan handling and reporting were added later on the same base.
Build: Shopify store moved to WooCommerce with subscriptions
A supplements brand found Shopify could not do monthly auto-billed subscriptions on every product, wholesale pricing or their inventory sync. We built the WooCommerce site from scratch: Subscriptions, role-based retail and wholesale pricing, Authorize.net with tokenised recurring billing, ShipHero inventory sync over their API, shipping rules and wholesale order history.
Build: site rebuilt on Kadence without losing customisations
A content site with a custom child theme, custom post types and a front-end submission form wanted Kadence and blocks with everything still working. We rebuilt on Kadence Pro, moved the post types and taxonomies into a plugin so they survive theme changes, rebuilt the submission form with taxonomy terms mapped correctly, matched author pages and colours, fixed an old image bug.
Build: custom theme from PSD with a WooCommerce shop
A brand had a full PSD design and needed it as a WordPress theme: homepage, fourteen collection pages on one template, a WooCommerce shop with filters and a product page for 400 products, all editable. We built the theme with reusable templates, WooCommerce template overrides, taxonomy filtering with clean URLs, and page builder support. The client runs the site themselves.
