I gained insight and experience in a whole range of creative work: UI/UX design, video editing, image manipulation, graphic design, editorial design, photography and UX writing. My philosophy ----------------------------- I love designing and developing especially for the needs of the customer. The websites I build are super fast, secure and they perform great in Google and other search engines. Also: websites should be fun! If your visitors feels completely comfortable and safe on your website, it's much more likely that they will become your customers. My way of working produces websites with a very small carbon footprint - my tiny contribution to making the internet more sustainable. Working with WordPress ----------------------------- WordPress and I have a long history together, I have built countless custom (PHP) themes and am very experienced in this area. Nowadays, lots of my projects are around transforming WordPress sites into the modern Jamstack architecture. Without losing previous SEO rankings - quite the opposite! The best thing is, you can still use WordPress as a "headless" CMS. I create successful websites. ----------------------------- The websites I build achieve top rankings, excellent scores in Core Web Vitals and reliably increase my clients' success. I work with attention to detail and care, with modern technology and the latest UI/UX knowledge, making sure that everything is completely optimized. Jamstack (Eleventy) My favorite stack, the SSG Eleventy pushing to a GitHub repo and continuous deployment with Netlify. This site represents all I consider important and uses the latest CSS features. It serves to let you get to know me better, in all three languages I speak on a daily basis.
Lamprecht, Law firm
WordPress transformed to Jamstack (Eleventy) & Netlify CMS. The previous design was carefully polished and improved in details, so that site visitors hardly noticed a difference - except in the better user experience. All routes were kept or redirected to maintain the search engine rankings. The website is now blazing fast and even more very successful.

Custom PHP WordPress theme ACF, Gravity Forms and WPML The law firm was very successful with a WordPress theme I made for them in 2011, preventing them for years to consider a modernization - fearing a ranking loss. No need to concern about that! The modern UI and the performance (no need for jQuery or other frameworks) have achieved that it now performs even better, in every way.
