Hi! Welcome to my profile page. Most of the work I take on is the part no ready made plugin covers. Either what your business needs does not exist as a plugin, or a plugin covers most of it and the part left over is where your own rules sit. A lot of the rest is getting WordPress to talk to a system somebody else owns, so nothing is entered by hand twice. Stock that stays in step with your inventory system, or a course that opens the moment someone buys the product. I have been building on WordPress since 2016. Two of my own plugins are on WordPress.org. One of them lets your visitors write and manage posts from the front end, through a form you build yourself. I also take rebuilds of sites that outgrew what they were first built on, and speed work on pages that got slow after years of things being added. There is Shopify work too, but WordPress is where most of my time goes. Main Skills - Custom plugins, and changes to plugins and themes you already have - WooCommerce with custom pricing, discounts, bundles and checkout rules - Integrations with a system you already run, over its API, in both directions - WP REST API, custom endpoints, sign in from a link in an email (JWT) - Gutenberg and custom blocks, ACF, custom post types - Tracking real actions like a new account or an order, into Segment or Customer.io - Rebuilds, migrations and host transfers (WP Engine, Flywheel, Linode) - Speed work on slow sites, checked in PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix - Figma, Sketch or Photoshop turned into a WordPress theme - Custom elements for Elementor and WPBakery - PHP, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Node.js, MySQL, SASS/SCSS, Webpack, Docker - WordPress Coding Standards, code review, Git and GitHub Actions - Shopify, Liquid themes, checkout extensions, Shopify Functions Write to me with what you have in mind.
