I love to dive deep into problems to understand and support your needs. Having previously spent nearly 12 years working at Automattic (Parent company of WordPress.com, Jetpack, and WooCommerce), I spent time serving as developer and lead for the Jetpack plugin, working on VaultPress and general assorted security incident responses, and served from 2020 to 2025 on the [Special Projects Team](https://specialprojects.automattic.com/) where I built and managed WordPress sites for a large number of non-profits and worthwhile causes. I've also been a regular contributor to the WordPress Open Source software for fifteen years now, creating and championing the [Application Passwords functionality](https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/11/05/application-passwords-integration-guide/) to enable third-party applications to communicate easily with WordPress, and spent time doing deep dives into a smattering of other areas of the codebase over the years. Recently, I've been enjoying working with the Block Editor and Full Site Editing experience, creating custom blocks and extending core functionality to make user-centric interfaces that provide the bespoke functionality needed for projects. When not working, I'm generally pursuing one of a myriad of hobbies that all seem to center around making things. Whether 3d modeling and printing, letterpress printing, sewing muppets, woodworking, bookbinding, or painting miniatures, I thrive when crafting items to spark joy in those around me.
